Kanlungan ni Hiraya | Art x Healing x Change
Tuesday, November 08, 2016
People who know me would swear to the gods that I can only draw stick figures but I truly admire how others can create wonderful art.I gotta thank my lil sis and big bro for helping me out with my art projects back in grade school and for drawing exactly how I wanted my project to be done. (my teachers didn't have any hint!haha)
Recently, I had this fascination with art and museums (OMG, I think I had to post that visit to the Davao Museum soon), so you can just imagine me high-fiving myself after I realized that there will be an upcoming art exhibit and I'll get to meet with the artists themselves. I'll let you in to a meet up that happened last Saturday. (Yey!)
Davao Bloggers Society met up with Sir Dinky Munda of Tabula Rasa Art Group Unltd. and Vincent Bitana of Cure Philippines Inc to discuss about the collaboration for a cause happening this November to December.

Not many of us may know that Davao City is not only a melting pot of people, food and fashion but also a hub of great visual artists, creating masterpieces not just to express but more especially as tools for healing and change.

In collaboration with Fuji Xerox and Tabula Rasa, Tebow Cure Hospital will be hosting a series of art exhibits within the city.
While not all of us may have the hands to paint or create art, it's safe to say that we all have the eye to appreciate great works of art and a heart to give.
There will be three event locations and the artists themselves might well be there in most days to personally share their inspiration for their artwork and their other advocacy. I bet you'd want to be there on opening day for each exhibit location to meet with the renowned artists such as Sir Dinky Munda, Daryl Descallar, Brando Cedeno among others.
See yah there!
