Uniqlo X Davao: Life Wear is Here

UNIQLO has finally arrived in Davao from Tokyo!

In case you missed it, their first store in Mindanao opened last Friday, May 26, 2017 at the G/F of SM Lanang Premier. And if that's not exciting enough, they're opening a second store for my people in the south of Davao, on June 2 at SM City Davao Annex.

The new UNIQLO stores offer a full range of Life Wear Essentials with their 2017 Spring/Summer Collection.

True to their tag line:SIMPLE MADE BETTER,

every piece of Uniqlo embodies the Japanese values of SIMPLICITY, QUALITY and LONGEVITY.

If you take a peek at my closet, a whole new wardrobe of pieces from Uniqlo will never go out of place. I like my clothes to last me a lifetime, haha no, just long enough to stand the test of time.

I want to look back at my photos and OOTDs without having to do a face palm and sighs of "Why did I wear that in circa 201x?". That's exactly why I totally dig the concept of Life Wear. Life Wear is something I can wear everyday. I also read an article about how Uniqlo's unique clothing (thus the same) gives every shopper the basic, classic pieces that are easy to mix and match.Made with such modern elegance, it becomes building blocks of style.

Classic never goes out of style.

I've heard about Uniqlo from my lil sis Kate a couple of years ago when she frantically showed off her favorite pair of jeans that she got from Manila. She said the simple blue jeans, the cut, the color and the utmost quality will definitely give her a great deal based on a cost per wear ratio. Of course I wondered why she didn't get me a pair and just wished that the store would come here one day.

And alas, the gods took heed! Yey! I was more than thrilled to accept the invitation to Uniqlo's VIP and Media Event 2 days before the opening on May 24
