SISTAH LOVING

Thursday, November 17, 2011

She’s a devil’s advocate. She is so obsessed of her stick thin body and labels herself as “imperially slim”. Yeah, I need to accept the fact that she makes me feel very insecure for the fact that she’s two inches taller than me, that she doesn’t have to limit her food intake to maintain her figure, she has one of the most creative minds and she has a fun and exciting social life. And she tells that right in my face. (tsk2).
But she’s my sister, and I love her. No matter how much we argue, no matter how many times she has to act like the older sister because of my immature moments, the even more times she acted as my fashion police to really tell me honestly how I look like in my preferred outfit. She has a strong persona and she speaks her mind.
She updates me of the latest trends – the newest gimmick places, the hottest artist, upcoming movies, the coolest gadgets, even how to navigate this very complicated networking sites and yeah, the internet. She seems to know everything except hard core math. Haha.
People would really find us really cute; one aunt even told us how much she couldn’t understand how we manage to go about our fiery arguments, shouting and lots of quarrels, then without saying sorry, we laugh and comment how we love one artist’s shoes. Haha. Then we talk again, argue again then laugh and so on.

I fondly call her Amay, no matter how fabulous she is as Kate around campus or to her friends; she will always be my little sister, the family’s “Amay Gamay”, our annoying baby sister, Dora the Explorer. She is ill-tempered and oh how we love to tease her. She has this irresistible puppy dog’s eye when she asks for “pasalubong”. And how I get so pissed everytime she borrows the clothes I just bought when she had just commented that it looks so horrible then I’ll check my facebook and see her wearing my clothes. Hmf. And she’ll post it as profile picture. Bad sister. But I can borrow her accessories, her cute bags. Truly, having a big, little sister or however you call it, is a blessing and I’m very glad to have one. She’s just perfectly evil. :')And I love her, siya AMAY:')

I'm awksome & adorkable, my cute way of justifying my clumsiness. Born in PH 1989, last wave of people born in the 80's. Never stop learning. I'm a licensed nurse who currently studies law. I'd probably learn pastry making soon but maybe calligraphy lessons sooner. Normal is boring. Most of the people close to me prolly think I'm weird. I dunno. Love is my religion, I'm a low-key agnostic. Jed's greatest fan or biggest headache. hihi

About the Blog

WONOLOGUES is an experimental blog I started in 2008. I coined it by combining WOWO+MONOLOGUES. Wowo is my nickname. I was told that it came from the word "wow". I believed them. I envision this blog to be a wonderful monologue as told by Wowo, just a hodgepodge of all things I find wonderful. I just came back from a year of hiatus. New blog posts weekly.
