How to ace the Decemer 2011 NLE?
So, alright, my lil sissy would be taking this exam as
well as most of her friends. Kudos people! I know you can do it and days before
you take your seat and shade those little boxes; I have a few more things to
tell you. J
Breathe. Yeah, I know you do know inhale and exhale
and the process of ventilation but what I really have to tell you is
this-breathe. Take it easy. It’s just another exam. It’s just as easy as the
college entrance exam. The whole review was just made up so you can spend more
time with your classmates so you won’t have a separation anxiety with school,
okay? NLE is an exam; it’s not a matter of life and death.
Pray. It may be a loud or silent prayer to Allah, God
Almighty, the Ancestors, etc but praying actually aids us into hoping that
there is a guiding light that is always with us throughout the journey. Prayer
is also a way of meditation so you can relax and also to help good circulation –
so your brain gets all the oxygen it needs so you can remember the answers.
Follow instructions. Yes, it’s nerve racking. You‘ll feel
your heart beat faster, it would be harder to breather and you’ll see yourself
shaking and sweating, and your mouth dry. But stay focused. Compose yourself.
Read the directions carefully. Do not forget your real name. Haha. Do not
crumple your test kit.
Be prepared. Have everything in your bag – anti-diarrhea
medications (coz lbm’s happen to a few, really), hard candies (just don’t chew
like a goat), water – so you won’t have to drink up your saliva. Prepare your
uniform ahead of time, or the night before. Assign someone to wake you up.
Analyze. As you open your test kit, say another
prayer. Analyze every situation and answer accordingly. Follow your guts. Just
answer the first thing that comes to mind. (walay nasipyat sa chamba) If you can't answer right away, skip the item and move on, holding on to one question would be waste of time. Just make sure you're shading the right number and letter, alright?:)
Enjoy shading. I know you mastered the art of shading
throughout the review days. It’s like going back to kindergarten when you have
to color a fruit without going through the outline. Have lots of sharpened
pencils ready, at least two. And not too sharp, you may tear your answer sheet.
Smile J Yes, smiling
just gives out all the answers from your head. You won’t really notice the
whole 5 Tests are already done.
Rest your head before the exam. No more cramming,
okay? Play your favorite playlist. Dance to your favorite song. Catch up that
chick flick. Do not over eat. Do not starve yourself. Just don’t be late come
exam day. And some proctors are strict, so tidy up guys. Tie up that hair,
girl. And boys, you may wanna see your barber.
So, have a happy exam! Kaya niyo yan! J Hawda guys, woohoo! :’) Welcome to the club! weeee
